H.H. the Dali Lama is bitten by a radioactive sea turtle. The H.H. then grows to be something like 50 feet tall. First half of the movie is a combo of slapstick and answering important questions like where does a 50 foot Buddhist meditate, and how will he stay fed, where will he sleep? The second half of the movie is all action. H.H. must break with his pacifism to save the world (even the non-Tibet parts of China) from a 60 foot land shark (also bitten by the same turtle). The Dali Lama wins of course, but at what cost to Buddhism?
